This notice is published for informational purposes only and not as a request for competitive proposals. 

The U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) intends to issue a sole source contract in accordance with MMAR 6.302-1, to Internet Archive of San Francisco, CA, to provide Archive-It Web Archiving Subscription Service.   This follow-on allows the continuance for hosting of data, online access, back-up stored in perpetuity that is interwoven in GPO's internal network.  The service includes software updates, maintenance and new releases, and provides Web Archivist Technical Support.  

Internet Archive (Archive-It) is the only provider of an end-to-end subscription web harvesting service that includes this complete package: collection management, state-of-the-art web harvesting software, quality assurance tools, perpetual storage, access, support, and is essential for GPO's Library Services and Content Management to continue to manage the Federal Depository Library Program Web Archive Collections using web archiving tools developed by Internet Archive.
