The Department of Defense (DoD), Department of the Navy (DoN), Naval Criminal Investigative Services (NCIS), hereby gives notice of intent to award a Sole Source Commercial Buy contract under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii) �Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements�, to Stoney Knoll Archaeological Supplies P.O. Box 493 Stockton Springs, Maine 04981 for the following: 10- Large Sifter, double decker, 1/2 top mesh and 1/4 bottom mesh 20- Metal Side Handles 20- Waterproof rocking sifter entire standard rocking sifter with marine spar-varnish 20- 3rd Leg Front support piece designed to hold rocking sifter upright. 10- Waterproof entire hand sifter, rocking sifter insert or drying frames with marine spar-varnish 10- Medium rocking sifter with 1/2 mesh 10- Premium waterproof entire hand sifter, rocking sifter insert or drying frames with marine spar-varnish This Notice of Intent (NOI) is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. No solicitation documents are available and requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-83 dated August 3, 2015 and DFARS Change Notice 20150626. This acquisition will be processed under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and is set aside 100% small business. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for the proposed contract action is 321999 which have a business size standard of 500. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. The Government reserves the right to cancel the Sole Source Award.
