The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District (CENWP) and Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) (the Agencies) are jointly responsible for compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) under the terms of the 2009 Systemwide Programmatic Agreement (SWPA) for management of Historic Properties affected by operation and maintenance of the Federal Columbia River Power System (FCRPS). The FCRPS Cultural Resource Program works closely with interested and affected Tribes, State Historic Preservation Offices (SHPOs), and other Agencies for cultural resource management in compliance with Section 106 of the NHPA.
This acquisition is for the contribution of traditional knowledge and input from the Confederated Tribes of the Warm Springs Reservation (CTWSRO). The objective of this contract is to document Traditional Cultural Properties associated with the CTWSRO. Tasks include finalizing a National Parks Service Form 10-900 - National Register of Historic Places Registration for six archaeological / cultural sites located in Gilliam County, Oregon.
This acquisition is intended to be sole sourced to Warm Springs Geo Visions, a solely owned and operated enterprise of the CTWSRO. Warm Springs Geo Visions is the CTWSRO's cultural resource managing entity and has oversite of all off reservation cultural resource NHPA compliance on behalf of the CTWSRO. Warm Springs Geo Visions are the only source authorized to represent and speak on behalf of the CTWSRO, as it pertains to the NHPA.
