NOTICE OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION (NOPCA). The Air Force Lifecycle Management Center, Cryptologic Systems Division Contracting Division (AFLCMC/HNCK), at Joint Base San Antonio, Lackland AFB intends to award, on a sole source basis, a Fixed Price contract for the repair of 4 each, AN/ARC-234 Receiver/Transmitter, NSN: 5821-01-473-7745CA, P/N 01-01685-004, and 6 each, AN/ARC-234 Receiver/Transmitter, NSN: 5821-01-490-7181CA, PN: 01-01685-005, to RAYTHEON SYSTEMS, 8333 Bryan Dairy Rd, Largo, FL 33777-1230, (CAGE: 1LZU1), the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The proposed contract action is for repair services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source IAW 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6302-1(a)(2), only one responsible source (except brand name). The Government intends to make an award by the end of September 2013. No technical data/drawings/Technical Orders are available. If a firm believes it is capable of meeting the Government's requirements, it may identify its interest and capability to the Contract Specialist within ten (10) days of this publication.
