Tooele Army Depot (TEAD) has a requirement for a tandem dual axle drop deck trailer. The Trailer shall be 108 inches wide by 636 inches long. The lower deck shall not exceed a height of 40 inches from ground level when empty, and the length shall not exceed 504 inches. The upper deck of the trailers shall be flat and not exceed a height of 62 inches from ground level. The upper deck shall be 108 inches wide and not exceed a length of 132 inches. The Trailers will be capable of transporting a Mobile Surveillance Workshop and accessories with an approximate weight of 25,000 pounds total. The trailer must follow all applicable state, federal, DOT, and DoD regulations for commercial over the road trailers.

The Contractor will be required to design and fabricate the trailer so that the Mobile Surveillance Workshop is mounted and secured for reasonable transport under normal driving conditions and terrain.

This notice neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. It should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose nor will the Government pay for information solicited.
