The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate a sole source Firm Fixed Price Contract with Moog, Inc. for the procurement of AN/URN-25 TACAN Transponder Group upgrade kits and technical data. These kits will replace obsolete modules and circuit card assemblies with new assemblies upgrading to an AN/URN-32 TACAN configuration, and include the Transponder Beacon Upgrade Kit and Remote Control Status Unit (RCSU) Upgrade Kit. In the base year (FY15), an approximate quantity of 27 Beacons and 16 RCSU will be procured. The approximate quantities for the three option years are: FY16, 28 Beacons and 28 RCSU; FY17, 28 Beacons and 28 RCSU; and FY18, 29 Beacons and 29 RCSU.
