The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price modification to an existing contract, N00019-12-C0099, to MOOG Inc. This contract modification under FY14 Primary Option exercise will increase the quantities of AN/URN-25 TACAN Transponder Group upgrade Beacon Kits from twenty (20) to thirty four (34) and Remote Control Status Unit (RSCU) upgrade kits for quantity fourteen (14), but not to exceed the maximum quantity of twenty (20). This effort is being awarded on a sole source basis to pursuant to the provisions of FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source". Moog, Inc. is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the AN/URN-25 Upgrade kits and therefore is the only contractor with the requisite knowledge, experience, and technical data that can meet the Government's requirements on a timely basis.
