The Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Telephonics Corporation, Farmingdale, NY to procure 2 each Data Processing Group Rack Assemblies p/n 310-2000-002 and 4 each Radar Data Processor (JPALS) p/n 310-2001-005 under a pre-established Basic Ordering Agreement. These requirements shall support the Special Communications Requirements (SCR) Division, St. Inigoes, MD. The government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1. The government does not own current data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
