The Solicitation Number RFQ-TTB-08-0034 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-12. The NAICS Code for this solicitation is 334516 and the size standard is 500 employees. The Bureau of the Public Debt on behalf of Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) has a requirement for two (2) Anton Paar DMA 5000 M Density Meters that allow TTB to analyzes various beverage alcohol products for tax classification purposes. It measures alcohol content of wines and beers as well as the proof of distilled spirits. It determines the solid content of these beverages using the specific gravity. The instrument also validates standards for GC-TCD measurements of alcohol content of beers and wines.
