QUOTE PREPERATION AND SUBMISSION
GENERAL QUOTE INFORMATION
This Request for Quote (RFQ) is for the procurement of Scala brand dipole elements and cables sets, which are a component of the 4 bay and 8 bay antenna systems used by the NOAA Weather Radio (NWR) program, for upgrading and extending service life of the system. These antenna elements will be procured on a firm fixed price basis, from a pool of distributors who can supply this item from the manufacturer, Kathrein. The government may award one or two purchase orders from this soliciation. Quoters must provide a quote for either CLINS 0001 (dipole antennas) and 0002 (associated shipping costs) or CLINS 0003 (cable sets) and 0004 (associated shipping costs). Quoters may also provide a quote for all items.
Quotes are expected to conform to the RFQ terms and conditions and be prepared in accordance with this section.
GENERAL QUOTE SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS
Submission of quotations. At a minimum, items 1-6 below must be completed --
1. The RFQ SF 1449 Page 1 Blocks 17a, 30a, 30b, and 30c. This includes name, address, and telephone number of the quoter.
2. The RFQ SF 1449 Page 3 filled-in price. The government may award one or two purchase orders from this solicitation. Quoters must provide a quote for either CLINS 0001 and 0002 (dipole antennas) or CLINS 0003 and 0004 (cable sets). Quoters may also provide a quote for all items.
3. Provide technical information/descriptions for each of the CLINs.
4. Provide a statement that the representations and certifications currently posted in SAM are current and accurate. This will suffice for FAR Provision 52.204-8.
5. Provide no more than three (3) past performance references including name and contact information for whom the same or similiar equipment has been provided to within the last five years.
6. Provide any warranty information for the product(s), if applicable.
Quoters are responsible for submitting quotations, and any modifications thereto, so as to reach the Government office designated in the solicitation by the time specified. The quoter’s initial quotation should contain the quoter’s best terms from a price and technical standpoint. The Government may reject any or all quotations if such action is in the public interest; accept other than the lowest quotation; and waive informalities and minor irregularities in quotations received.
