The Naval Air Warfare Center, Lakehurst, New Jersey (NAWCADLKE) intends to issue a sole source contract with BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration as per the authority of 10 USC 2304 (b)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The purpose of the proposed delivery order under the Basic Ordering Agreement is to procure an Antenna Group OE-120()/UPX Dual Port Power Divider subassembly. The Government does not own the drawing data rights for the for the subject equipment. BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration is the sole designer and manufacture of the subject Antenna Group OE-120()/UPX equipment and is the only known firm which possesses the knowledge, experience, and technical expertise necessary to fulfill the Navy's requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition, based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
