The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to use other than full and open competition to award a modification to existing contract N0002421C5202 with Leidos Inc. in Reston, Virginia. The contract modification will increase the contract ceiling to support completion of tasking within the existing scope to support the Surface Ship Undersea Warfare (USW) combat system A/N SQQ-89A(V) with the capabilities to search, detect, classify, localize and track undersea contacts, and to engage and evade submarines, mine-like small objects and torpedo threats. This contract is in four inter-related areas of support for the AN/SQQ-89A(V)15; 1) Logistics, 2) installation, 3) fleet support, and 4) life-cycle sustainment.

The modification will mirror the structure of the existing contract CLINs. NAVSEA anticipates that award of the modification will occur in Q3 FY 2022. This pre-solicitation synopsis notice covers requirements that NAVSEA intends to procure on a sole-source basis.
