This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

The Oklahoma City-Air Logistics Center (OC-ALC/PKEA) at Tinker Air Force Base Oklahoma, intends to negotiate a firm fixed price for Periodic Maintenance CLINs and Time & Materials price for Remedial Maintenance CLINs contract for the acquisition of services listed below. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE ACQUISITION.

Contractor is Required to sign the origianl solicitation document and return 1 copy to issuing office. In addition, Contract is requred to sign the amendment to solicitation document and return 1 copy to issuing office. Contractor agrees to furnish and deliver all items set forth or otherwise identified above and on any additional sheets subject to the terms and conditions specified herein.

EVALUATION OF RESPONSES:
Award will be conducted and evaluated under the provisions of FAR Part 12, Commercial Items, and FAR 13.5, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The responsible offerors must be registered in the Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) database (available at: http://orca.bpn.gov/) system per FAR 52.212-3, and submit a completed copy of the Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items with their quote. Offerors must also be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (available at: www.ccr.gov) per FAR 52.212-1. Lack of registration in CCR will qualify contractor as ineligible for award. All responsible sources may submit a quotation in response to this solicitation, which shall be considered. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), for a firm fixed type and time & materials contract. The Oklahoma City-Air Logistics Center (OC-ALC/PKEA) at Tinker Air Force Base Oklahoma intends to issue a sole source contract to Hexagon Metrology, Inc. Hexagon Metrology has proprietary rights to the software, hardware, technology and replacement parts to the coordinate measuring machines and the only qualified technicians with experience and training from Hexagon to perform the maintenance of the subject CMMs.
