The City of Reading will receive sealed proposals via the PennBid program at www.pennbidprocureware.com until 3:00pm, prevailing time on 6/14/21 for the Angelica Park ADA Improvements Project for the City of Reading, Pennsylvania, as per specifications on file in the Office of the Purchasing Coordinator. The work shall consist of: Removal of existing features - Selective demolition of existing trail path and features within project area which are in conflict with the proposed design. This includes any excavation or rough grading required to achieve the project design. Proposed Outdoor Developed Areas - Installation of ADA accessible asphalt path - Installation of picnic area with tables and accessible walkways - Installation of benches placed along asphalt pathway. The Contract documents and Proposal Form for the above work can be obtained via PennBid at www.pennbidprocureware.com There will be no prebid meeting for this project. Each proposal shall be accompanied by bid surety in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal. A certified check or bid bond will be accepted. Attention is called to the fact that Davis-Bacon Act prevailing wage rates must be paid by the contractor and that employees shall not be discriminated against because of race, color, age, religion, sex or national origin.
