USU has a requirement for an anesthesia machine w/ AVS Ventilator & anesthesia monitor, to be utilized in our Veterinary Surgical Division (VSD) to anesthatize animals 0.8kg+ in weight for upwards of 10-12 hours of surgical procedure. This must be a veterinary specific anesthesia machine capable of providing the level of anesthesia required for the range of research animals here at USUHS, to include pediatric ventilation.
