The project title is "Afghan National Civil Order Police (ANCOP) Patrol Battalion at Nahr-e-Saraj, Helmand Province, Afghanistan." This project is defined as the management, design, material, labor, and equipment to design and construct and / or refurbish all utilities, roads, buildings, force protection measures, site security, deminining activities, and other features as referenced in the solicitation / contract package. The
ANCOP Patrol Battalion is an Afghan National Police (ANP) operating establishment that will support approximately 500 personnel. The proposed site is about 236,000 square meters (118 jeribs) and the site is located approximately 22.5 kilometers east of Gereshk City. The scope incorporates a secure perimeter and associated facilities, infrastructure and amenities to house the ANCOP 5th Brigade 4th Patrol Battalion. The ANCOP mission incorporates administration, warehouse / storage, secure storage (weapons), munitions storage (small arms), fuel storage / allocation, and vehicle staging and maintenance. ANCOP support elements incorporate training and billeting facilities (male and female). Site work and related design shall be accomplished by the contractor.
