The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to ITT Avionics, Clifton New Jersey, on a sole source basis for Full Rate Production (FRP) Lots 9-13 of the Integrated Defensive Electronic Counter Measures (IDECM) ALQ-214 (V)4 Radio Frequency Countermeasures (RFCM) system. The contract will consist of a base year with four options. The anticipated quantities are as follows:

FRP9: Qty 28
FRP10: Qty 56
FRP11: Qty 46
FRP12: Qty 40
FRP13: Qty 65

This effort is being awarded on a sole source basis to ITT Avionics in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 as ITT is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the ALQ-214 system and is the only firm that can provide these supplies within the required timeframe. This is not a commercial buy and therefore the Government does not intend to use the provisions of FAR Part 12 for this acquisition. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only.
