The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a delivery order under the BOA N000196-11-G-0005 to ITT Avionics of Clifton, New Jersey for field support/technical services on a sole source basis. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis to ITT in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." ITT is the only firm that possesses the requisite knowledge to accomplish the engineering services, studies, and other support tasks to support the ALQ-214. The contractors efforts shall include, but are not limited to: field support/technical services at Government and Contractor facilities, as well as investigation of reported field problems (hardware and software) in the field and Contractor's facilities, initial aircraft installation and checkout; on-site laboratory setup, debugging, data reduction and reporting, flight certification, flight test crew training, pre-flight briefing, and post flight debriefing.
