This is a Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source contract using simplified  acquisition procedures of FAR part 13 to Skydive Orange, located at 11339 Bloomsbury, Rd Orange, VA 22960 under the basis of authority of FAR 6.302-1 for the Airborne Mobile Training Team (AMTT) parachute training.  Skydive Orange can satisfy the agency requirement for this type of training. A determination has been made by the Government to use other than full and open competition for this acquisition. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the government will consider all vendor capabilities received within 5 days after date of publication of this Notice of Intent. This requirement will be for a period of performance of 2 August 2013 to 30 September 2013 with no option years. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
