The City of Santa Barbara (City) serves water via approximately 27,500 metered water connections to a population of 90,000. City is currently wrapping up a comprehensive water meter replacement program to install AMI compatible meters throughout its service area, and will be releasing a Request for Proposals (RFP) around Spring 2020 for a system-wide Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) hardware and software platform. In anticipation of this project, the City is seeking an Integrations Specialist Consultant (Consultant) to successfully manage the technical aspects of the City of Santa Barbara’s AMI Project, and ensure that the technical aspects of AMI Project are completed on schedule and within budget. The scope of this work shall include overseeing all systems integration between the Utility Billing Software and the selected AMI systems vendor, as well as other systems if deemed necessary. Proposals will be received electronically until 3:00 P.M. Pacific Daylight Time, Monday, January 27, 2020. The receiving deadline is absolute. Allow time for technical difficulties, uploading, and unexpected delays. It is the proposer’s responsibility to submit their proposal with sufficient time to be received by PlanetBids prior to the receiving date and time. Late or incomplete RFPs will not be accepted.
