This is a pre-solicitation announcement for Non-Personal Ambulance Services for the San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC) area of responsibility. The Regional Health Contracting Office - Central is seeking a qualified contractor to provide the necessary personnel, equipment, and units to provide basic life support and advance life support ambulance services for the San Antonio Military Medical Center, JBSA - Fort Sam Houston installation, Camp Bullis, Schertz Medical Home, and Westover Hills Medical Home. Services are required 24 hours per day, seven (7) days per week, including all Federal Holidays.
The performance period is for a base period (date of award - 30 September 2017), plus four (4) twelve-month option periods (1 October 2017 through 30 September 2021), and one (1) eight (8) month option period (1 October 2021 through 31 May 2022).
This requirement is being solicited as a small business set aside procurement. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 621910, Ambulance Services and size standard is $15M. The government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract.
The solicitation number is W81K00-17-R-0006. The solicitation will be available on/about
24 April 2017 at the FedBizOpps website (www.fbo.gov). Prospective offerors are advised that if tentatively selected for award, they must be registered with the System for Award Management (http://www.sam.gov) and obtain a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code prior to any award being made. The solicitation will close on/about 24 May 2017.
