The Jacksonville Transportation Authority, hereinafter referred to as the (“JTA” or “Authority”) a body politic and corporate and an agency of the State of Florida, located at 100 LaVilla Center Drive, Jacksonville, Florida 32204, is requesting Bids for ITB No.22-004 ALTERNATORS. The purpose of this Invitation to Bid is to solicit competitive Bids to establish a Contract to purchase from qualified and experienced firms, hereinafter referred to as the (“Contractor”, “Vendor” or “Supplier”) to provide the JTA with alternators for JTA's buses per the prescribed specifications as stated in the solicitation. The JTA reserves the right to add or request additional units as desired at a mutually agreed upon price by way of a negotiated price with the successful Contractor or by competitive bidding. Sealed Bids will be received by the Authority until the above-stated Bid Submission Deadline at the following location: JTA Bonfire Procurement Portal The complete Solicitation package will be available June 30, 2022, and can be obtained by visiting https://jtafla.bonfirehub.com/portal/?tab=openOpportunities. A complete examination and understanding of information contained in the Solicitation package is necessary in order for the Bidder to properly submit a Bid. The Solicitation package also includes a detailed set of Instructions to Bidder. All Bids shall be prepared in accordance with the Instructions to Bidder. The failure to comply with any requirement contained in the Solicitation may result in the rejection of the Bid as non-responsive or a finding that the Bidder is not qualified. Bids must be uploaded to the JTA Bonfire Procurement Portal by the date and time identified in this ITB. We strongly recommend that you give yourself sufficient time and at least ONE (1) day before Closing Time to begin the uploading process and to finalize your submission. Late Bids will not be accepted and the JTA Bonfire Procurement Portal will not accept submissions past the date and time of closing.
