The United States Mint is looking for capability statements of firms who are interested in conducting research and development for alternative metallic coinage materials for the production of all circulating coins. In accordance with Public Law 111-302, Section 2(b), in conducting research or soliciting input or otherwise working with Federal and nonfederal entities.
