The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a one time, sole source basis to: K2 Acquisition Company LLC, 86 West Street, Chagrin Falls, OH 44022 for the purpose of installing three antennas; run new coax cable, connectors and ground kits; sweep test existing cable and replace connectors if warranted; sweep test new run; and provide materials needed. The material or service must be compatible in all aspects (form, fit, and function) with existing systems presently installed. Due to existing license agreement stipulations from the tower owner, K2 Acquisition Company LLC is the sole source provider of installation, repair and replacement services. No other sources are permitted. The resultant contract will fulfill the FBI's requirement to upgrade the current system. This will allow agents to have a functioning radio communication system to complete daily investigations.

The FBI intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).
