ALLERGY TESTING FOR CLINICAL TRIALS - 22-7874 Waiver 22-7874 ALLERGY TESTING FOR CLINICAL TRIALS: The University of Wisconsin-Madison is requesting a sole source waiver for over $25K with Eurofins Viracor, a for profit company. The purchase is for specialized biological sample processing services for allergen testing. Testing will identify compounds such as total IgE, allergen-specific IgE, IgG and IgG4 that indicate exposure to certain allergens such as cockroach, dust mite, mold and others. Eurofins Viracor has been providing these services for the childhood asthma in urban settings studies and will continue to provide them to maintain consistency and comparability of research results among study participants at UW and other study sites. The waiver covers a two-year term. The PO for services will be issued in August 2021. The estimated cost of the services will be $250K over the term.
