Provide all equipment, labor, materials, tools, and other incidentals and execute all work necessary to perform the required road maintenance on the designated National Forest roads in accordance with the specifications. The work consists of routine maintenance activities normally associated with gravel and native-surfaced roads.
LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Roads to receive maintenance operations are located within the 2 Ranger Districts of the Allegheny National Forest in McKean, Warren, Forest and Elk Counties, Pennsylvania.
Road lengths that will receive maintenance will vary from 0.1 mile to 12 miles. Total distance of a road will not always be designated for maintenance. Type of surfacing may vary on any one particular road.
Maintenance activities include surface grading, ditch cleaning and culvert cleaning.
