Anton Paar's DMA 5000M Densitometer with modular sample changer (Xsampler452) measures alcohol content of (wine, malt beverages, non-beverage products), proof (distilled spirits), and specific gravity (for all mention commodities). Also determines the concentrations for alcohol standards used in GC-TCD measurements. Instrument interfacing to an autosampler allows for greater efficiency with loading of several samples on the magazine for continuous analysis. ISO 17025 calibration and certificate is needed upon installation.
This alcohol density meter must meet our minimum accuracy requirement of 0.000005 g/cm3 and hold 40 samples.

The company has no other resellers or distributors of this product.

No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent to sole source is not a request for competitive quotations; however, the Government will consider responses received no later than 2:00 PM ET on April 9, 2014. Responses shall be submitted to [email protected]; Attention: BWatson / JWebb.

Responses shall include, at a minimum, the following information:

1. The name of your company;
2. Company DUNS No.;
3. POC name and contact information;
4. The specific product(s) that your company offers that fulfills the same function as the items to be included on this order or evidence that your company is capable of providing a renewal for the specific items mentioned above; and,
5. A description of that product(s) and its overall capabilities.

It is your responsibility to demonstrate how your product(s) is capable of providing the same functionality that exists with the products mentioned above. The Government will not seek additional information from your company if you fail to provide sufficient evidence of having a product cable of meeting the Government's needs.

A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government's Contracting Officer. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
