The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate and award a limited competition procurement for Alcatel Brand Name switches, which will be used for the USN Aviation Data Management and Control System (ADMACS) systems on CVN's 69, 71 and 75. Additionally, Alcatel switches are needed to support Combat System Testing (CST) at Wallops Island and Dahlgren in support of the ADMACS program.  Equipment is as follows:

The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. Due to the obsolescence of the switches currently on CVN's 69, 71 and 75 the switches now part of the approved ADMACS Block II baseline and are needed to assure the ADMACS system on those ships are logistically supportable. Only LGS Innovations and their authorized distributors can meet the form, fit and function requirements for this application. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
