This is a Request for Information (RFI) to purchase a venue for an airman resiliency retreat. Submitting Information does not bind the Air Force for any future contracts/grants resulting from this RFI.

The findings of this market research effort may impact any future solicitations related to this requirement. This market research is not a solicitation as defined by FAR 2.101, and the Government is not requesting offers or proposals at this time. This is a market survey for planning purposes and no award will be made as a result of this sources sought notice. If a solicitation is issued, the Government does not guarantee that it will be issued to the RFI respondents. The Government is also requesting that restrictive or proprietary markings not be used in response to this RFI.

Background: The Nellis AFB Chapel is hosting a spring resiliency retreat for Nellis/Creech/NTTR airmen (E1-E4). Due to the design of this retreat, the dynamics required for group interaction, and the need to optimize resiliency development in airmen, particular requirements are essential for this retreat. These requirements are listed below. The time criterion for this event is driven by base schedule considerations and the availability of the session leader(s).

1. Dates for Singles Retreat

a. Room Check-in available by 3:00pm on Friday of date 24 May 2013

b. Room Check-out available at 11:00am on Sunday of date 26 May 2013



2. Retreat Resort Facility

a. Non-gaming resort atmosphere (no casinos). Venue must be considered a resort, not merely a hotel.

b. Amenities to include leisure and recreation areas. Facilities need to be able to accommodate a combination of hiking, swimming or boating, and team sports like basketball, ultimate Frisbee, flag football, etc. Space for these activities should be on-site or within a 15 minute drive. The resort needs to be able to provide for any admission fees to parks, if applicable, for hiking and swimming/boating.

c. Location should be more than 20 miles from Nellis AFB to enhance relaxed atmosphere
d. Location should be less than 300 miles from Nellis AFB for ease of access

e. Package accommodations for 30 guests required. Single rooms not essential.
• Preferred bed size is full or larger, but not essential. Twin beds will suffice.
• Amenities to include clean linens and towels.

f. Must be able to provide 5 hot meals during stay. Buffet or plated meals are fine:
• Dinner on Friday, 24 May
• Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner on Saturday, 25 May
• Breakfast on Sunday, 26 May

g. Require meeting room able to accommodate entire group (30 individuals)
• Must be equipped with chairs/pews
• Must be equipped with PA system which can amplify 2 spoken voices and a guitar.

h. Personnel to assist with housekeeping, meals, recreational time, and A/V needs (projector, screen, wireless mouse/clicker) are essential.
