The 802d Contracting Squadron is intending to award a sole-source purchase to Coins of PS Enterprises Inc. to provide Airman Coins to the 737 TRSS at Lackland AFB, Texas.
This purchase will be made under simplified acquisition procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 3 December 10. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The intent of this procurement is to award based on Sole Source requirement.
This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-31, and DFARS Change Notice 20090115, Standard Industrial Code 5551, North American Industry Classification System Code 423940 and Size Standard of 500 apply to this procurement. The Government intends to evaluate and award without discussions on this procurement. The intent of this procurement is to award based on sole source requirement. Quotes are not being requested and written solicitation will not be used. This is a follow on contract based on previous contracts for the same coin that has been competed in the past and Coins of PS Enterprises Inc. has been the vendor due to the high quality of their product.
