The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue an order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-08-G-0013 with Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems (IDS), Portsmouth RI for support of the AN/AQS-22 Airborne Low Frequency Sonar (ALFS) system to provide onsite support in support of standing up MH60R squadrons with ALFS operation capability and organic repair and maintenance of ALFS Weapon Replaceable Assemblies (WRAs). This action is being awarded on a sole source basis to IDS. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. As the sole manufacturer and developer of the H-60 ALFS system, IDS is the only known source with the technical data, knowledge and technical experience necessary to perform these efforts within the time frame required to meet the Government's needs.
