The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue orders under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-08-G-0013 with Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems (IDS), Portsmouth RI for support of the AN/AQS-22 Airborne Low Frequency Sonar (ALFS) system to include engineering investigations, non-recurring engineering for engineering change proposals, and asset grooming and refurbishing of acceptance test equipment as required to maintain production capability associated with MH-60R acoustics mission. As the sole manufacturer and developer of the H-60 ALFS system, IDS is the only known source with the technical data, knowledge and technical experience necessary to perform these efforts within the time frame required to meet the Government’s needs.
