This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-68 and DFARS Changes Notice 20130626. It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS, intends to issue a sole source, fixed price purchase order to LBI Inc. (DBA: Legnos Boat Industries) Groton, CT 06340. The requirement is for Standard Ship Deployed (AXIB) (QTY-2 EACH) and Airborne Expendable Ice Beacon (AXIB) (QTY-2 EACH). LBI Inc. is the manufacturer of the specified components and hold proprietary rights. The components are not available from a third party. Delivery is requested 2 September 2013or as soon as possible. FOB: Destination, Stennis Space Center, MS 39522-5001.
