The President of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), Gulf Coast Chapter, in partnership with the Program Executive Officer for Weapons and Commander, Air Armament Center, Eglin AFB FL will hold the 36th Air Armament Symposium at the Emerald Coast Conference Center in Ft Walton Beach, FL on 5-6 October 2010. The theme this year is "Excellence in Armament Acquisition: Adapting to a Dynamic Environment." .
Since inception, the Symposium has grown significantly in both attendance and importance. The 36th Air Armament Symposium will feature prominent, eminently qualified speakers discussing topics vital to national and international defense interests. The Air Armament Symposium is an outstanding opportunity for us to continue to strengthen our government-to-industry relationships, foster an excellent exchange of information with senior leaders in the air armament business, and provide information to our industry partners on future Air Armament Center business opportunities. We encourage your involvement in this important event which includes domestic and international business participation, as well as international military participation.
There will be a social at the Emerald Coast Conference Center in the exhibit area on Tuesday, 5 October. Various air armament displays and industry exhibits will be available for viewing. On Wednesday, 6 October, the social will be at the Air Force Armament Museum, where you will have an opportunity to see the rich history of Air Force Armament and visit with our local leaders. On Thursday, 7 October, the Air Force Association (AFA) will host a golf tournament at the Eglin Golf Course, open to Symposium attendees.
