The Defense Health Agency (DHA), National Capital Region (NCR), Falls Church, VA, under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented in FAR 6.302, “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements,” intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price, sole source, purchase order to Karl Storz Endoscopy-America, Inc., for an AIDA BELLA medical video recorder, and its components, for surgical cases performed in the Main Operating Room at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.   

Karl Storz Endoscopy-America, Inc, 2151 East Grand Avenue, El Segundo, CA, owns the proprietary rights of the AIDA BELLA medical video recorder.  The estimated cost is approximately $353,430.  The NAICS code is 339112, “Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing”.

There will be no Request for Quote (RFQ) available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the government will consider responses to this notice within five days of this posting.
