1.  INTRODUCTION
     a.  This is a Sources Sought synopsis being conducted pursuant to FAR Part 10, Market Research. This is for planning purposes only and there is no solicitation available at this time.
     b.  This is an initial step in the planning process for the delivery of a lapping machine. The Government is contemplating award of a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order.
     c.  The 377 MSG/Contracting Division at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, seeks potential sources to provide the manufacture and installation of AIA Wall as listed below in paragraph 4. to include FOB-Destination shipping to Kirtland AFB NM 87117.
     d.  Delivery Date:  Preferred 30 Day After Receipt of Offer (ARO).
     e.  The North American Industrial Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 339950, Sign Manufacturing, which has a small business size standard of 500 employees.

2.  INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTIONS:  All businesses capable of providing this product are invited to respond.  Any information provided to the Government as a result of this sources sought synopsis is voluntary and the Government will not pay for any information submitted.  Respondents are requested to submit capability packages electronically, as described below.  
     a.  Requested information listed below must be received no later than 1100 hours (Mountain Standard Time) on 3 April 2017.

4.  SALINE CHARATERISTIC:
The contractor shall furnish parts, material, labor, equipment and supervision necessary to manufacture and install a .375" thick brushed, engraved, rolled and filled 17 feet (length)  x 1 foot (width) Cap Piece.  Make the Cap Piece in 3 (three) pieces.  Install on South West wall of the building. The Cap Piece will be engraved with the Air Force Core Values - "Integrity First, Service Before Self, and Excellence in All We Do".  Only the first letter of each word is capitalized.  The letters are approximately 3-4 inches tall.  (This piece is to match, aesthetically, the cap piece done over the Medal of Honor Wall.)  The piece is Concave brushed Aluminum .375 inches thick.  Contractor shall meet all requirements discussed in this Statement of Work.
