NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The Army Contracting Command Redstone Arsenal (ACC-RSA) intends to award a sole source contract to Longbow Limited Liability Company (LLC), 5600 Sand Lake Rd., Orlando, FL 32819-8907, CAGE Code 04WF2 for the acquisition of Life-Cycle Contractor  Support (LCCS) services for the AH-64 Apache Fire Control Radar (FCR), to include; obsolescence management, engineering services, and over and above work, as appropriate in support of the AH-64 Apache D and E Model FCR program. The Government intends to award a contract that consists of a six (6) month base period and four (4) one (1) year option periods. The Statutory Authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition for this action is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii) entitled “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements.” The Sole Source solicitation, W58RGZ-21-R-0135, will be released on or about (O/A) September 07, 2021 and close O/A January 05, 2022. The solicitation release and closing dates are estimated and may be adjusted, however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
