The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a sole source modification to ATK Defense Electronic Systems, Woodland Hills, CA for engineering services for the analysis and repair in support of the Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) phase I of the AARGM Missile. It is anticipated that the resultant contract modification shall be on Cost Plus Fixed Fee type basis. Unless otherwise stated herein, no formal request for proposal or additional written information is currently available. Request for same will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. This synopsis is published for information purposes only. ATK is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the AGM-88E AARGM, and as such, is the only known source available with the requisite technical knowledge, experience and tooling to produce the requirements described herein, in order to satisfy the government's requirement.
