The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to enter into sole source negotiations and subsequently award a class of actions covering FY15 for the AGM-65E2 Laser Maverick (LMAV) with Raytheon Missile Systems. Efforts to be placed on contract include procuring 500 Laser Maverick modification kits. The contract will also consist of sustaining engineering and technical services in regards to analysis, design, coding, integration, test and documentation updates to LMAV. The contract will also provide logistics support and technical services for product improvement and production support as well as training, engineering, repair of repairables, and technical data in support of LMAV.

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Unless stated herein, no additional information is available. Requests for the same will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. GENERAL INFORMATION: Raytheon Missile Systems is the sole designer/developer and are the only company with the knowledge, experience and access to the technical data necessary to fulfill the Government's need and meet its schedule requirements. Accordingly, Honeywell International, Inc. is the only known qualified, responsible source that can fulfill the requirements specified herein.
