The government intends to award a sole source contract to Agilent Technologies Inc., for an Agilent Seahorse XFe96 Analyzer which is a specialized instrument that simultaneously measures mitochondrial respiration and glycolysis in live adherent or suspension cells, three dimensional samples (spheroids), ex-vivo samples (tissues), and isolated mitochondria in a label-free, high-throughput, 96-well microplate format. The analyzer must be able to measure oxygen consumption and cellular respiration via mitochondrial function. Items included are shipping and handling, installation, on-site training, software, start-up consumables, maintenance agreement and warranty.
