System Overview
The system features the analysis of permanent gases, including hydrogen, argon/oxygen, nitrogen, methane, carbon monoxide, and carbon dioxide, via dual TCD's on argon and helium carriers. Compounds eluting after hydrogen on the argon TCD channel are backflushed to vent. Compounds eluting after carbon dioxide on the helium TCD channel are backflushed to vent. Ethylene, ethane, propylene, and propane, may also be analyzed on the helium TCD channel with an extension of the backflush time.
