The National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) seeks information on commercial vendors that are capable of providing Agilent 3-axis interferometer (Z4399A 3-Axis IF) using existing Agilent laser technology to the NIST Lattice Comparator. The upgrade of the NIST Lattice Comparator will help to increase the reliability of the measurements made with the NIST Lattice Comparator.

NIST is seeking responses from all responsible sources, including large, foreign, and small businesses. Small businesses under the associated NAICS code for this effort are, 334515, and are defined as those domestic sources having 500 employees or less. Please include your company's size classification in any response to this notice. If two or more small businesses are identified, we will consider a set-aside.

Companies that are able to provide, manufacture or supply Agilent 3-axis interferometer using existing Agilent laser technology are requested to email product literature and documentation that state that the vendor is authorized to sell Agilent products. Please email product literature and documentation to [email protected] no later than the response date for this source sought notice. Also, the following information is requested as part of the response to this sources sought notice:

1. Name and size of the company that can supply an Agilent 3-axis interferometer existing using existing Agilent laser technology.

2. Name of the company(ies) that are authorized to sell a similar Agilent 3-axis interferometer using existing Agilent laser technology , their addresses, and a point of contact for the company (name, phone number, fax number, and email address).

3. Indication of the number of days after the receipt of the order that is typical for delivery of an Agilent 3-axis interferometer.

4. Any other relevant information that is not listed above which the government should consider in finalizing its market research.
