FBO Special Notice Posting: AFWERX Multi-Domain Operations Challenge

Submissions will be considered for competitive awards made by both government and affiliated non-government entities. These awards can come in the form of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) pathways or nontraditional pathways such as but not limited to, Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs) for Prototype 10 USC 2371b, Procurement for Experimental Purposes 10 USC 2373, Prizes for Advanced Technology Achievements 10 USC 2374a, and/or Prize Competitions 15 USC 3719.  The deadline to submit under this announcement is 10 June 2019.

Postings made on http://www.afwerxchallenge.com and/or https://afwerx.spigit.com website(s) are considered to satisfy the reasonable effort to obtain competition in accordance with 10 USC 2374a (b), 15 USC 3719 (e) and 10 USC 2371b (b)(2).

There is the possibility that prototype awards result in non-competitive production awards through the utilization of Section 804 Middle Tier Acquisition Authority.

All FAR-based actions will follow announcement procedures per FAR 5.201(b).

The Government will not pay for any information that is submitted by respondents and is not required to award any contract(s) as a result of proposals received.
