Additional information regarding USU can be found on our website: www.usuhs.mil.
USU has a requirement for temporary relocation and storage of laboratory equipment at the Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute (AFRRI) located in Bethesda, MD.
THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for quotes; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement.
We would like to know what information is required for vendors to be able to quote for a future solicitation. Due to the sensitive research conducted at AFRRI there are clearance restriction which limit the amount of information (Such as floor plans) that we will be able to provide vendors. US Citizenship may be required for anyone entering the facility. Clarification is being sought though USU Security Department.
We estimate 800 items of equipment will need to be packaged, removed, stored for approximately two (2) to three (3) years and then returned once renovation updated have been completed. Items will range from small ladders to larger laboratory freezers.
What information will vendors need to know to be able to provide a quote? What is required? Are vendors able to quote without a site visit? What other information might be important to include in an RFQ that will help vendors quote?
Please provide the following with your submission:
1. Company name and address
2. DUNS Number
3. Socio-Economic Status (Small, SDVOSB, etc.) - Socio-economic status will be verified in SAM.gov.
4. Point of Contact (Name, Email and Phone Number)
All responses are due 6 October 2017 and must be emailed to [email protected].
