DESC: The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards AFB intends to solicit and award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Resodyn Corporation, 130 North main Street, Suite 630, Butte, MT 59701. The NAICS code is 423490.

The following items will be procured:

CLIN 0001, One (1) LabRAM Bench Top Mixing System including complete manual, set up instructions, 4 disposable mixing vessels with the following specifications:
• Power Requirements: 110VAC, 50/60Hz
• Standard Vessel Hold-Down Tooling can accommodate a vessel of these maximum dimensions: Height: 4.5in (11.3cm), Width: 3.56in (9.04cm)
• Mix Capacity: Maximum 1.1lbs (500 grams), Approx. 16oz (500ml)
• Acceleration: 100G (981 m/sec²)
• Weight: Mixer: 130lbs (59kg), Power Supply/Controls: 40lbs (18kg)
• Mixer Dimensions: Diameter: 16in (41m), Height: 25in (63.5cm)
• Vacuum Pump, Trap and Fittings; Vacuum Cap will accommodate a vessel of 2.71in (6.9cm) diameter.

Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government's requirements. In addition, the response should include any special requirements for a commercial contract (i.e. Commercial Financing, Warranty Provisions, Delivery Information, etc.) in accordance with FAR Part 12.

Anticipated Award Date is 24 April 2009. Responses must be received no later than (NLT) 4:00 p.m., Pacific Daylight Time, 03 April 2009. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within 10 days of the publication of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
