DESC: The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards AFB intends to solicit and award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Micron Instruments, Inc, 4509 Runway Street, Simi Valley, CA 93063. The NAICS code is 541511.
The following items will be procured:
CLIN 0001, Ten (10) Dual Bond Stress and Temperature Transducers (DBST) Model No.: 140820
CLIN 002, One (1) Multiple Channel data Logger (ML-1008A)
CLIN 003, One (1) Logger-Computer Interface (SIA-1A)
CLIN 004, Five (5) Mounting Kits for Wireless Sensor No.:441624
CLIN 005, Wireless Data Acquisition Task to modify software and hardware to decode signals from Sensor Model No.: 441624.
CLIN 006, One (1) Hand held reader
CLIN 007, Calibration of Sensors to determine calibration constants for all sensors and provide cal sheets.
CLIN 008, Mounting of DBST Sensors to mount four sensors (two wired and two wireless) on phenolic tube motor cases (two tubes).
CLIN 009, Consulting Services and Operator Training to provide consulting on use of software, hardware, and procedures to maintain and protect sensors during use.
Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a proposal/quote in response to this request and in accordance with FAR Part 12.
Anticipated Award Date is 25 September 2008. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within 15 days of the publication of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
