The scope of work for the Aetna Willis Shaft Maintenance project shall consist of mobilization of the contractor's workforce and equipment, construction site preparation to include clearing and grubbing and tree removal, construction site layout and surveys, construction and installation of a project sign, installation of safety fencing and barricades, installation of erosion and sediment controls, upgrade and/or construction of access roads, replacement of a drain culvert, capping and closure of a vertical mine shaft opening with concrete/grouted riprap, installation of mine shaft markers, quality control measures and reporting, excavation and regrading of contours, revegetation and clean up, and repair of damage to the project site.
