The Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Installation Contracting Division (PZIOA), Eglin AFB, FL, intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to Worldwide Aeros Corp., 1734 Aeros Way, Montebello, CA 90640-6504, Cage Code: 1XPY1 for Aeros Aerostat Craft. The anticipated contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Commercial Purchase Order.

The statutory authority which permits other than full and open competition for this acquisition is implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b). It is the Government's intent to proceed with this sole-source action which is supported by a Single Source Justification. The applicable NAICS code is 334220. The size standard as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration is 1250 employees. Anticipated award date is 5 January 2018. The requirement will consist of:

CLIN 0002 - Winch & Tether 500' tether length, P/N: A12-GE-006; 1 each

CLIN 0003 - Ground Power System, P/N: A12-GE-002; 1 each

CLIN 0004 - Wind Sensing Payload, P/N: A12-PL-011; 1 each

CLIN 0005 - Ground Receiving Station, P/N: A12-PL-012; 1 each

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS. No solicitation package will be issued. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. All responses received by 1200 pm CST on 2 January 2018 will be considered by the Government. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. All information submitted should support the offeror's capability to provide the items required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offeror's capability to provide these services.
