This notice constitutes Solicitation # AG-05G1-S-15-0058 and is being issued as a Request for Quotation. This notice and any incorporated provisions include those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-80. The project is 100% set aside for Small Business concerns. The NAICS code associated with this acquisition is 115310 and the small business size standard for that code is $7.5 million average receipts over the past three years.
DESCRIPTION: The Contractor shall furnish all technical expertise, labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies and incidentals necessary to provide pheromone placement within designated units in the Little Wenatchee River vicinity on the Wenatchee River Ranger District, Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forests. The entire area to be treated is 691 acres. The intent or end result is to place pheromone flakes in areas where trees may be subject to attack by Douglas-fir beetles, in order to prevent arriving beetles from aggregating. The Contractor shall develop a plan of operation to accomplish this objective, and shall organize and direct all the equipment and personnel needed to fully accomplish the work. The treatment area with suggested operation locations is identified on the attached map. Work must be accomplished between the dates of April 29 and May 8, 2015.
