This unrestricted solicitation and contract award is based on full and open competition in accordance with FAR 52.211-6; Brand Name or Equal. The requested Automated External Defibrillators (AED) and the Advanced Response Package is available through Federal Supply Schedules with some items being classified as Open Market items. It is a requirement of interested vendors that they are an GSA Advantage Approved Vendor and have a listed on GSA Contract number. Technical evaluation of vendors quote will consist of technical capability to provide and perform specifications requested and offer must be found technically acceptable by Naval Medical Center Portsmouth after review. Quotes should reflect pricing on all items for consideration, the FSS items and Open Market items must be identified on the quote provided in response to this solicitation. The government reserves the right to make a "Best Value" award.
